What fun we had with Allison & Nathan and not just because they give the best group hugs! We could yap all day with them, talking about our two favourite things, traveling and music. Allison did a beautiful job creating all of the decor for their intimate wedding at the Arbutus Club (yes, I did just say ALL of the decor! Even the flowers! She is a talented artist!). Allison and Nathan incorporated so many thoughtful details into their wedding that celebrated and honoured their families and friends. One of my favourite elements that Allison had created were gorgeous paper birds that their guests signed with their wishes and blessings for the couple. The birds were then hung over Allison and Nathan for their ceremony.
Thanks so much, Allison and Nathan, for having us be a part of such a special day. Congratulations!

Allison wore the same necklace that her mother, her grandmother and her great grandmother wore at their weddings. Allison made the earrings to match.
Allison used lace from her Grandmother’s apron on her bouquet and wore her mother’s veil.
I loved Allison vintage inspired dress and the shoes… wowza! Nathan’s tie matched Allison’s shoes.
Isn’t she beautiful?
All the beautiful birds.
I love this group hug Nathan had with his family before the ceremony. Group hugs are the best.
Officially Mr. & Mrs.!!!
You can always know a new groom by how he fiddles with his ring! So cute!
More group hugs and oodles of joy after the ceremony. The room was bursting!
Nathan had all the boys wear coral socks.
Allison with her new sisters.
Could they be any cuter?
Some of Ali’s gorgeous decor!
I loved how they had both of their parents and their grandparents weddings photos on display.
I love the fierce attitude of this little man. So crazy cute!
I’m not sure what Nathan’s mom was up to with her noise makers. I wonder if her middle name is trouble! : )
