Breaking out the 4×5″ Camera

After their wedding Daniela & Farzad contacted us wanting to come to the studio for a more formal portrait session. They realized after seeing their wedding photos that they wanted something more traditional that their grandparents, who weren’t able to come to the wedding, would really enjoy. At the end of the photo session in our studio Roger brought out one of his beloved film cameras, his 4×5″ large format view camera, a Sinar. Roger has been wanting to use his Sinar for wedding portraits for quite some time, so he was overjoyed to get the chance to do so. And wow, was it ever worth it! The results are absolutely gorgeous. Thanks, Daniela & Farzad, for being up to breaking out of the norm in this digital age of photography.

Here is the polaroid Roger did to test out the lighting. I love all the amazing textures.
