Elaine & Warren’s wedding on a wintry January Saturday was wonderful. Luckily the rain held off for this lovely couple which was probably because they had bought cute umbrellas in the colour scheme of their wedding. Isn’t it funny how it doesn’t rain when you are prepared for it? Winter weddings are also a great excuse to buy a gorgeous coat just like Elaine did. After taking pictures of Elaine & Warren getting ready we took the couple out for a portrait session around False Creek and in Queen Elizabeth Park before their wedding ceremony at the Celebration Pavilion. Elaine & Warren made us smile with how they made each other laugh, making faces and having fun with the portrait session. After a lively and to the point wedding ceremony all the guests headed to Seasons in the Park for a yummy yummy lunch. During the lunch reception Elaine & Warren had a photo booth from Le Studio which the guests had a ball with. Everyone was so kind to us that day. Brandon, their MC, at the end of the day gave us Elaine and Warren’s wedding favours, cupcakes. We were so thankful because oh boy, were the cupcakes by Pink Penguin Cakes ever delicious!
Thank you, Elaine & Warren, for having us be a part of such a special day. Congratulations!

See what I mean by how they were having fun during their portrait session?
Right before the ceremony started the men from both families worked on shortening Elaine’s brother’s tie.
Isn’t Elaine stunning, beaming away?
